Ingredients
1/2 cup cold brewed coffee or strong iced espresso
1 tbsp creamy tahini (well-stirred)
1–2 tsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
1/2 cup ice cubes
Optional: 1/4 cup oat milk or plant-based milk
Optional: pinch of sea salt, cinnamon, or cocoa powder
Instructions
1. Whisk tahini and maple syrup together until smooth and creamy.
2. Add a splash of hot espresso or coffee and whisk until a thick paste forms.
3. Slowly stir in remaining cold brew or iced espresso.
4. Add oat milk or plant-based milk if using, then mix well.
5. Pour over ice cubes in a glass and stir again.
6. Sprinkle cinnamon, cocoa powder, or sea salt on top if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a frothier version, blend all ingredients with ice.
Substitute maple syrup with honey or date syrup if desired.
Store leftover tahini-coffee base in the fridge for up to 3 days.
