Ingredients
1 cup fresh ginger root (chopped)
½ cup fresh lemon juice
1 tsp turmeric root or ½ tsp powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Pinch of black pepper
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
¼ cup water or coconut water
Instructions
1. Juice ginger and turmeric using a juicer
2. Squeeze lemon juice and combine with other liquids
3. Stir in cayenne, black pepper, and honey
4. Store in glass container in fridge for up to 5 days
5. OR: Blend everything with water
6. Strain with nut milk bag or fine mesh
7. Pour into bottles or ice cube trays
Notes
Start with a small dose to test tolerance.
Use gloves when handling turmeric to avoid stains.
Great in tea or smoothies when frozen in cubes.
