Ingredients
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
½ tablespoon fresh turmeric or ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
1 cinnamon stick
¼ cup fresh mint leaves
⅓ cup fresh pineapple chunks
1 cup water
1 Lemon Verbena tea bag (tag removed)
1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)
Lemon slice (optional)
Honey (optional)
Instructions
1. In a small saucepan, add water, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, mint, and pineapple.
2. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 7–10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat, add the lemon verbena tea bag, and steep for 5 minutes.
4. Strain the tea into a cup or mug.
5. Stir in optional apple cider vinegar and honey. Add lemon slice if desired.
Notes
Best served warm in the morning or chilled throughout the day.
