  • Total Time: 15 mins
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup brewed black or herbal tea (hot)

1/2 tsp berberine powder (or 1 capsule opened)

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup cooked tapioca or chia pearls

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

12 tsp monk fruit or stevia (to taste)

Ice (optional)

Instructions

1. Brew your tea and let it steep strong (about 5–7 minutes).

2. While the tea is steeping, cook your boba pearls according to package instructions and rinse.

3. While tea is still warm, stir in berberine powder until fully dissolved.

4. Add cinnamon and sweetener. Mix well.

5. In a glass, add boba pearls and ice if using.

6. Pour in the tea mixture, then top with almond milk.

7. Stir and serve with a thick straw.

Notes

If you’re new to berberine, start with 1/4 tsp and increase slowly.

For a cozy version, use warm chai tea and coconut milk.

Vegan? Use chia pearls instead of tapioca.

Consume within 30 minutes for best flavor and benefit.
